Nothing says spring more than bunnies! I know a lot of people collect them. On a wreath or swag seems like the perfect place to have one hop on in.
I wanted to make this swag a soft color but one that has brighter accents with the pink roses. They really pop in contrast to the neutral background. To me bunnies are in style all spring a summer. If you are aa gardener, you know how much they are around and seemingly nibbling on everything, so making it a focal point in a swag seems like a natural choice.
This neutral swag is made on a pine base with lots of sage button greenery with berries added for a wispy look. I added some soft green ranunculus, ivory hydrangeas, brown cosmos along with pink roses. A bit of nature is center stage in this piece with a bunny, bird nest and eggs, even a small butterfly flutters around.
There is a large hook at the top to hang it from. I use these round hooks because it prevents the swag from rolling on your door when it is opened and closed. Plus, I like the way it looks.
This is a large swag measuring approximately 35 ” long and 18″ wide and about 6″ deep.
